Visitor Review:

I settled on this hotel after reading some of the reviews and seeing the ranking. I was in Saint Paul for business so I only was in the hotel in the mornings and evenings. Overall the hotel was nice, clean and in a good location for my work. There was easy access to the major roads and the parking was good (even though you had to pay to park).

The Hotel has an atrium so all the rooms open up to the inside. The suite itself was roomy and clean. There is a glass door leading into the suite which is covered with a see-through curtain, making it not the most private barrier between you and the outer world (so be careful changing your clothes in the front room with the lights on at night) In addition, it was a little loud. I was on the 2nd floor away from the elevator. But there was a fairly loud noise that kept reoccurring and I couldn’t figure out if it was from the bathrooms above me or what - it sounding like constantly flushing toilets or the elevators going up and down. It wasn’t loud enough to keep me awake at night but was noticeable when sitting in the room watching television. The bed was comfy and good and stocked with six pillows – so take your pick.

Breakfast was nice and hearty, the pool/hot tub was a nice plus (open late too). Personnel were nice and I even checked in using the kiosk – which was a breeze.

Overall, not the best hotel I have ever stayed in for the money but it worked.
