Visitor Review:

I stayed at this Embassy Suites last week for 2 nights on business. It was an average Embassy Suites… not great, not bad, but I’d stay elsewhere if I was staying near the airport in Miami. I’ve stayed at the Hilton, Marriott, and Homewood Suites and I prefer all 3 to this hotel.

The good: Its an Embassy Suites… larger rooms, complimentary breakfast.

The not so good: LOCATION. This isn’t the first time I’ve stayed at an Embassy Suites that was inconvenient to other hotels and restaurants in the airport area. This one is close to a Red Roof Inn a “gentlemen’s” bar and a bunch of rental car lots. It isn’t close to every other hotel near the airport and it was a $15 cab ride for me to get anywhere around the airport.

Cleanliness - It wasn’t necessarily dirty, but I moved the couch away from the wall to plug in my computer and it appears that I was the first person to do this in a while.

Clock radio was not working.

At 11 PM, I had to call 3 times in order to get a wake-up call.

You’re a business…..answer the phone.
