Visitor Review:

My husband and I and our three sons decided to stay at this property because of its location to Progressive Field (formerly Jacob’s Field) and our past experiences at other Embassy Suites. This hotel was fantastic! They went out of their way to make our stay a good one. We stayed for two nights and on the first night we tried to get tickets to a Cavaliers game at the last minute. A hotel employee called the “Q” Center to see if any were still available. He told us few were left but asked another employee to take us over there on their shuttle to check. Unfortunately, there were no seats left but we were thankful for the ride and for them checking for us.

The hotel does offer FREE shuttle service within a two mile radius. The next morning, we took the shuttle to the Great Lakes Science Center to see a movie at the Omnimax. That was also a nice place to visit. My boys (ages13, 9 & 7) enjoyed the show about Mars very much. After that, we just called the hotel and the shuttle came and picked us up. It was like having a private chauffeur! Later that day we caught a White Sox/Indians game at Progressive Field. Again, the shuttle dropped us off and Progressive Field is beautiful!

The day of our departure was my youngest son’s birthday and we had packed his birthday gifts with us but, unfortunately, we forgot to bring a screwdriver to open a battery compartment for one of his toys. I went down to the lobby and asked one of the Valet/Shuttle drivers if he could help and he ran out to the shuttle and grabbed a screwdriver so we could put the batteries in the toy. It was a very busy time and it was very nice of him to do that for us.

The pool is nice and clean and the boys enjoyed it both days we were there. The hot tub is nice but it only worked the first night we were there. The second night the water was not hot, just lukewarm. They were in the process of trying to repair it.

The free breakfast was great. One of the cooks, James, is very friendly and talkative. He can tell you a lot about the city. He offered to make pancakes for my boys since pancakes are not part of the buffet. There were plenty of things to choose from such as scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, cereal, fruit, oatmeal….and the list goes on.

We stayed in a standard room with two double beds and a pull-out sofa. The room was spacious and clean. The cleaning staff was very friendly.

Overall, the people of Cleveland and the employees at the Embassy Suites were very friendly and helpful. We won’t hesitate to visit this hotel or city again!
